We enjoyed our stay at The Peabody, it is beautiful, clean and a very kind attentive staff. The Peabody is in a great location near Beale Street and an Uber ride to many attractions. I would highly recommend Peabody to everyone, we will definitely visit again. Very nice quiet well kept hotel somewhat off the beaten path but close to the Memphis Trolley and downtown without being downtown with downtown prices. Perfectly situated half way between my daughter's school - Rhodes College - and downtown Memphis. The location of the hotel is excellent, it is only a short walk to Beale Street. The hotel has a TGI Fridays restaurant attached to it which is convenient if you arrive late in the evening as I did. The hotel itself is aging the rooms are large and comfortable but nothing flash. Overall, it was an ok stay but for the money I think there is better out threre. From my first greeting by friendly desk staff in their spacious and modern foyer I knew this hotel would be good. Great location in good walking distance from central Memphis tourist attractions, sports venues, Beale Street, the Mississippi, and some fine bbq. Room spacious and clean with comfy beds. Good big bathroom with hot shower.
