I am struggling to get my Eve products integrated in Home Assistant. There are multiple posts on this subject, but most are up to a few years old already. Are your Eve devices using Thread? All your listed devices are Thread capable I think. Are you using a HomePod mini? If they are already within Apple HomeKit then you need to create a virtual equivalent device in HA linked via HomeBridge and then use an automation in HomeKit to link the two devices when events happen. Then HA will track the or control the Eve changes. I guess we could access state, switch control and power consumption when Matter arrives to Eve and Home Assistant, as they all announced their future compatibility. Could the Home Assistant HomeKit integration be extended to do the same? I also cannot add Eve Energy products to HA. Is the statement above applicable to all HomeKit devices or specific to Eve Energy product. I guess the uniqueness of Eve Energy products is that they only support Homekits and not Google and Amazon, not sure this is relevant.

I am running I went in to the integration and set WiFi credentials Why? I tried restarting HA. In the original video about Matter , there were some services used for adding provisioning devices, but those do not seem to be available anymore. I also got to this screen, it took a while but then I was able to add a name and my contact sensor appeared in HA.

So yesterday I got on the Matter pilot with Eve Energy for my smart plug to test it out. The instructions say to then set it into pairing mode on Device Details in the Home App and then let HA discover it as a new Matter device. I contacted Eve support and they tell me that the border router in HA Yellow is not compatible with Eve. I suppose I could try removing it from the Home app and then only try adding it to HA as a new Matter device. I think it needs to be removed apple home. I was able to get 3 of my Eve Energy outlets to pair.

Eero routers have long had Thread radios in them. Noob error buying the plug in the first place … wont be buying anything else from them thats for sure.
