Puerto Azul in Caracas Area is an exposed point break that has reasonably consistent surf and can work at any time windguru arrecife the year. Offshore winds are from the south with some shelter here from east winds, windguru arrecife.

Well we did have heavy seas and the wind was quite strong, but with the correct sails up trysail and little bit of genoa which rolled away to next to nothing, and in the lower wind rolled out a bit more Giselle was very well behaved and we just kept on going. We left Funchal, Madeira, at lunch time and arrived Graciosa, island north west of Lanzarote lunchtime 2 days later. Winds were very gusty from force 4 to force 7 sometimes within minutes, and sea was up and down! However, with the anchor down, a shower, a sleep and a feed, life is wonderful again! Oh how you can forget! The wind remained strong for the next few days, so on our trip around to Arrecife we kept the same sail combination, bright orange trysail and genoa, rolled in or out, I could really grow to like this. No boom to worry about very easy to go about or gybe.

Where to start? Unfortunately, I enjoy life too much to be a good triathlete. So it has to fit in around work, an extremely patient and supportive wife, and an unhealthy dependency on heavy metal and cake! And although you can never ever take an ironman for granted, the fear of not being able to finish has gone, so training often gets shoved to the bottom of the to-do list, with the excuse of not getting broken coming in very handy. A minor pre-race disaster of snapping my rear mech hanger on Anglesey, whilst working away in Wales the week before the race, is fairly typical for our club! Wiggle next day to the rescue, and perfect fit. It was only on my first attempt to ride in Lanzarote, that the chain clunked, spluttered and refused to move down the block — bent rear mech cage. It had clearly taken a right hammering when the hanger snapped — a big fat unit needs to produce a fair amount of power to get up a hill! Luckily I have lots of friends on the lovely island of Lanza, and Laurent had not long opened a bike shop on the prom in Carmen. A replaced jockey wheel cage made it worse, and close inspection revealed bent axles in the derailleur. So an hour after going in for a bit of indexing, I emerge with a sizeable credit card bill, and a new long cage rear derailleur at least I may get up Hardknott one day on a 32 rear sprocket now!!

Strange question, bit did you write a book? If they stick with this route, I windguru arrecife see the big lagoon. Wiggle next day to the rescue, and perfect fit.

Why do I wear this sstupid hat?!! There is usually a pretty good tailwind for the majority of this last 65km, so its certainly less brutal than the first two-thirds. Strange question, bit did you write a book? Unfortunately, I enjoy life too much to be a good triathlete. The park rangers, guides or escaped convicts sorry but their suits just give that impression have a few party tricks which impress the crowd, but the most impressive bit is the bus tour. Not quite squeaky time, but time to pay attention!! Today, many surfers would wear a rashvest wetsuit.
