Not because Blue-Eyes is my favorite card, but because the entire archetype's surprisingly versatile. I revisit the Blue-Eyes family pretty often, since something new almost always pops up for the strategy when a new set drops, even though it's one of the game's oldest boss monsters. Even though no new Blue-Eyes cards have debuted in recent sets, the deck still gets reinvented every time other cards come out. Since Blue-Eyes decks are really good at doing one thing, new cards that interact with its goals always offer an injection of fresh blood into the strategy. When your core game plan is just "big monsters that are easy to summon," your engine's going to fit into a lot of different strategies. I'm always looking for a way to play Blue-Eyes decks, but that's not the only thing I'm excited to play. Phantasmal Lord Ultimitl Bishbaalkin is an odd Synchro card that's never found a home for very long in competition. It needs a Level 8 or higher Tuner to hit the board, which is a pitifully small group of cards if you're not playing Level manipulation effects. It works pretty well in go-second decks as a battering ram to pick apart your opponent's board, so the only other thing left that you need for Bishbaalkin is a Level 8 non-Tuner. Blue-Eyes decks are overflowing with those, but why do you want to summon Bishbaalkin anyway? Thankfully, Blue-Eyes decks are positioned to thrive on the draw, first to attack. The least interesting thing about Blue-Eyes decks is how they barf out multiple monsters with ATK. But the fact that you can, means our super eloquent theme of "easily summonable big monsters" is a recipe for disaster… for your opponent!
Twin Burst Dragon on the field gives you a non-targeting, non-destruction removal, white eyes blue dragon deck, banishing method of removal and, since it can't be destroyed by battle, you can use it to get rid of stronger monsters without cost. Blue-Eyes White Dragon is quite a fan favorite deck and there are a number of ways to play the deck. Alternative White Dragon is very powerful due to its high base stats and free removal effect. On top of that it can be put on the field for free, making it a very easy yet impactful offensive play. Requiring you to have a BEWD on hand isn't really a problem with the many ways you can search it. Alternative White Dragon cannot attack the turn it activates its removal effect.

World Championship once upon a time. This dragon has the highest stats of any Normal Monster in the entire game. On top of that, it's a Dragon-type--one of the most supported monster types, and a Level 8 monster--making it accessible for Rank 8 Xyz Monster plays; one of the more easier Ranks to utilize. Quite a lot of support monsters have come to the aid of Blue-Eyes, but these are standout choices. It can also Special Summon itself from the hand, and can destroy a card on the field after sacrificing its own chance to attack for the turn. While the Deck Recipe may list two copies, players can opt to push for three for comfort's sake.
