The Wall of Flesh is one of Terraria 's Bosses. He appears in the Underworld when a Voodoo Doll is dropped into Lava. The Wall is a towering mass of tissue and eyes. He charges wall of flesh at the player, firing ranged attacks.

It is rather a towering, ghastly construct. Once it is defeated, the world permanently converts to Hardmode , which brings new content and challenges. The Wall of Flesh is summoned immediately when a Guide Voodoo Doll is destroyed by being dropped into lava in the Underworld while the Guide is alive, killing the Guide. The direction the Wall will face, and therefore move, depends on which side of the world the player spawns it. If the Wall is spawned on the right side of the world, it will move right to left. If it is spawned on the left side of the world, it will move left to right. The Wall of Flesh constantly moves either right to left or left to right, forcing the player to run from it, as it cannot be moved through.

Be aware of the fact that The Wall of Flesh might not fight but just leave the battle if you spawn it too close to the edge.

The Wall of Flesh commonly abbreviated as WoF is an aptly named wall made out of flesh that is the height of the entire Underworld Biome.
