It could also be T speed as they utilized the same housing but 9-speed seemed as a more common unit. But if you look at the pic you took in the junk yard you can see the airfilter housing is different.

When I was a teenager, during summer break from school he would take me along in this truck delivering cardboard boxes to factories in the Bronx, Queens, and New Jersey.
