The fall magazine featuring Shiplap will be released and available on Sept. Shiplap Quilt Shop was nominated by a customer, according to co-owner Gary Rurup. Rurup, and his wife Kristin, later received an email from Quilt Sampler revealing they were selected to be featured in the fall edition of their magazine. Nearly 3, quilt shops throughout America were in the running. Rurup said he expects foot traffic to increase at the store after they are featured in the magazine. Prior to the fall edition of Quilt Sampler being released, Rurup said he has already had visitors from outside of the area come to the shop, including two women from Chicago who were visiting the area. They saw Shiplap would be featured in the magazine online and wanted to visit the store before visits to the shop increased.
