Bloor homes review
Endorsed by all ages. Impressive construction, smooth process and a fantastic community, bloor homes review. We loved the layout, loved the position of the house and to be honest, from start to finish it was all very smooth sailing.
Absolutely appalling developer and would genuinely and strongly encourage first time buyers to look elsewhere. We moved into our house on Edwalton Park, Nottingham, in October , when after being in the property for a matter of weeks the shower blew cascading water all through the house and into the kitchen and living room. They refused to budge and after strong escalation above, a satisfactory redress was offered. Then, after a few months in the property, Severn Trent noticed our water meter spinning and uncovered a huge leak under our drive which meant that the entire drive had to be dug up. This was done over a matter of days with ground-workers who felt it appropriate to take selfies in the "trench" that they had dug.

I bought a bloor house and have had nothing but trouble the fittings are poor the standard of Finish is lazy and today I noticed that the shower had come away from the tiles because the legs under it had not been extended to the ground there are water drainage issues kitchen problems and many other things that it would take me an age to report. What a pile of rubish do not buy one, they are cheap for a reason and if you pay even near a normal house price you need to seek medical assistance, my wife just said I was being polite. Please heed my advice from experience. Not only was there pressure from the sales team to exchange contracts, when we did eventually move into our Bloor home, it was nothing like the picture advertised in the site sales office. All we were told was that instead of brick walls, the front would be rendered white. The house on display, showed a lovely front garden, a nice drive and plenty of room for parking. What we got was no pavement, a strip of earth about three feet wide in front of the study and dining room windows, leading straight on to the road. This was planted with near dead bushes in unprepared ground that were not even dug in, you could lift the plants out by there stems. The whole lot was covered in bark chippings to hide the shoddy workmanship. The interior of the house looked as if it had been lived in for six months by a family with half a dozen very boisterous children and a husband who was a DIY bodger.
Did they get all the extra right??? Mine are damaged but I never cooked there or lived there fully for the first couple of months due to helping family.

Has anyone else had a bad experience with Bloor homes and part exchange? Bloor states 'no chain, no-risk' when it comes to part exchange, so we took the hit and agreed to sell our home to them at a knockdown price for a stress-free experience. This was a big relocation for us and we fell in love with the area as much as the new house. They put our home on the market straight away, and we placed a deposit on theirs. Their mortgage broker had the mortgage approved within 3 weeks. We booked our upgrades, paid for gas surveys and electrical surveys on our own home, as requested by Bloor which came to a few hundred pounds and came back clear. Then an out of area surveyor came and he told us before he left that there was nothing to worry about. This was later confirmed by a Bloor rep. The surveys were passed and all was good.

We loved the layout, loved the position of the house and to be honest, from start to finish it was all very smooth sailing. Where we are, it's fantastic because we have the grandchildren and the little park's only down the road and it's a very nice community! Our home demonstration by the Site Manager, was fantastic, he showed us around and everything was to such a high standard, it was perfect. The day we moved in was seamless. When we got the keys and moved in, we were able to sit and relax in the garden.

Bloor hired their own trusted partner to conduct a survey which concluded that substantial amounts of work were needed to remedy the problem. Further disappointment, nothing from the pre inspection visit that was done in October was completed. I haven't used a snagging service as I'm nowhere near that time - the house I want hasn't even been released yet - but I'm planning to, even though the sales team tried to dissuade me, saying that with a Bloor home I should save my money as the finish was excellent. Asked by fatimariaz on 8th May Report this content Bloor homes in worsley fold. Too many problems to explain. Bloor Homes was absolutely amazing, they were so helpful and very professional. We still have some outstanding issues which are spoiling our home and certainly not what we thought we would be having to deal with when we purchased. If so, how is it going? Once we've checked over your question we will put it live on the site and our strong community of experts will hopefully give you some great answers that you find useful. Whilst many of the other minor issues have been sorted out efficiently, the same cannot be said about major issues in relation to subcontractors and it is disappointing that the approach by the customer service from Bloor Homes is that it has nothing to do with them with very little follow up unless they are chased. After reading the 32 reviews of other Bloor Home developments I feel ill, now getting worried about my new purchase. My so called Prestige house from Bloor looked as if it had been thrown up and decorated by the most inept builders around. The ovens they supplied both had failed elements within 2 years. But after reading several reviews I'm in shock!!

We were coerced by the sales staff to use their recommended Financial Advisers which was the first mistake. Have a look at Persimmon Homes reviews for example, they have loads of bad reviews yet continue to sell houses. The snagging list has taken over 4 months to sort with some items still outstanding and new items occurring as time goes on - the latest being a leak from the bath waste as it wasn't fitted properly in the first place. Our house won't be ready until the end of October and we are awaiting the mortgage. They even tried to blame me for 3 leaks into the kitchen from the ensuite. We are going to pay for a snagging service, more confident nothing will be missed and they'll be sure that we don't accept something that we shouldn't. They refused to budge and after strong escalation above, a satisfactory redress was offered. If you have already paid a deposit I wish you luck, but personally I wouldn't give them any more money as the final purchase will probably cost you more in repairs for poor build than the money you would loose from deposit. The day we moved in was seamless. Hot Stuff in Barratt Homes Reviews - barratthomes. When we were finally due to exchange in November because of the boundary delay we had to apply for an extension to our mortgage offer, however someone at Bloor told the Mortgage Adviser that it wasn't needed as they saw no problem with us exchanging and completing within 3 days, despite our Solicitor advising the date wasn't possible for several reasons. Does anyone have any experience of this development?
I think, you will find the correct decision.
I can recommend.
Also what in that case it is necessary to do?
