We took a first-look walk around The Aviator to find out. The freedom that has come with building a pub from scratch has been taken firmly with both hands by The Aviator team. To the right of the fire is a cosy alcove that would suit a larger group, and on the other side, the room is flanked by large windows allowing natural light to pour in. The Aviator mixes elements of a city-centre townhouse pub with the cosy compartmentalisation of a country bolthole.
