Sunflower is a sun-producing plant in Plants vs. Zombies 3: Welcome to Zomburbia introduced in the first level of the game. Like in previous installments, Sunflower produces sun that the player can spend on additional plants on the lawn. Unlike previous installments, however, Sunflower produces sun in increments of 1 rather than 25, with the plants' sun costs altered to reflect this. Sunflower is based on the plant of the same name from the previous games , but her design resembles her Plants vs. Zombies 2 appearance. Like the previous two installments, Sunflower is based on the common sunflower Helianthus annuus. The sun in her name refers to her ability to produce sun.
