The chart shows that bots are evening out the daily ups and downs in server traffic that occur when real people are playing. And yeah, it looks pretty bad. Looking at steam charts for past 48 hours, your correct. The base dip always falls to same line, aka that is what the bot floor begins as you see it spike up every day on the dime at 6am, then somehow it slowly goes down over 24 hours, then drops off the cliff, and then 2 hours later sky rockets. In a game with no bots, the game forms a wave line, similar to a wave as 24 hours in a day, people at work so goes down, and then rises after work, and then goes down, then other aide of world wakes up, and cycle. The numbers show the opposite: the player count spikes when people are st work, and decrease when people would be online. And then plummets at time people should be on activly, as botters hide offljne to not get banned, as only wealthy people play the game at 12am on a weekday, and those are the people they farming, they wont risk gold selling against normal players. This assumes everyone is playing in the same time zone, which is absolutely not the case. It also assumes that most people are working typical 9 to 5 type jobs.
