The seat is set back from those areas. Windows that dim or blackout by remote are a nice touch.

It's cattle class, in short. And I love the Dreamliner! In no hurry to fly the again. Anyone who is complaining about ANY Polaris seat on this plane is delusional. Seat 37 H is a standard Economy Class seat whose proximity to the lavatory and galleys may be bothersome. I loved this seat, massive amount of legroom. Good amount of recline and having a foot rest does make this a very comfortable alternative to standard coach or even MCE. Sydney to LAX in my own private world. This trip i was in 29D. Overall a very pleasant way to travel. I was traveling with a friend in 7A and 7B. Further, the warning of galley noise is completely false, this is not an issue in this seat at all. Those seats are nice, but the legroom is no better than that of Main Cabin Extra. The meal itself was OK- at least the food on the real plates. Also, it did not recline, not sure why.

They have attempted to compensate by a small curtain high up directly in front on the light but it's the general brightness which is annoying and would be easily resolved by a seperation curtain as all other airlines have. Service was exceptional going over, on par with foreign airlines i have flown. But they turn the cabin lights out for most of the flight, so don't bring any paper books to read. I wouldn't purchase Economy Plus again because 1 the seat recline didn't feel significantly better than Economy and 2 the increased seat pitch was in fact worse for me. Toilets seem bigger than average. The TV screens are large and there are several. There is a lav-occupied indicator on the bulkhead at front of cabin, for the two lavatories immediately ahead of the cabin. The crew was very nice. There are several storage lockers which the crew will open and close noisily in the galley right in front of this seat. Very narrow much narrower than B or Airbus A , and padding is virtually non existent. The seat was very comfortable. Bed was a little hard but it does lie flat which is good.
It is a special case..
It is a pity, that now I can not express - I hurry up on job. I will return - I will necessarily express the opinion on this question.
