After a couple of days wearing them over jeans, I no longer need the shoelace to get them zipped. They have a similar appearance to the Frye boots except at a lower cost. I love that they are leather all over and don't have any big elastic panel or anything giving away the fact that they are wide calf boots. Runs Small Runs Large. I also had a few odd things I was looking for in new boots: they stand up and stay up on my calves and you don't have to constantly pull them up. They also look very well made and should last a long time. This pair of boots fit well with jeans tucked in.
