This week a Hawks Legend announced that this season will be his last. For 17 years, Shaun Clarke gave his heart and soul to the Ringwood Hawks and tonight we will say thanks. As a player, Clarke was reliable and unselfish. As a teammate he was the best. It was never about him it was always about the team. Success has followed Clarke with Championships a common occurrence. He has won 5 senior Championships and a Youth one for good measure. He has won a swag of individual awards along the journey but they never seemed to matter much to him.

The Committee of Management would like to extend a thank-you to the in excess of players who attended tryouts. The club will be fielding 45 teams this season. The nature of representative tryouts means numerous players in each age group cannot be placed into teams. We would encourage all of those who were unsuccessfully to continue to play and develop their game at a domestic level. For those players who have been successful in achieving a position you must do the following to secure your position. If you are transferring in from another representative club to Ringwood Hawks you must NOT register on the Hawks website. You need to go to the VJBL website and download a clearance form. You need to arrange to complete this form including getting signoff from your transferring association.
