When I questioned him about the quote he disputed the figure and told me I should have got it in writing. Yes I should have and I will in future. I asked why he didn't ring me to discuss the issues - I may have wanted a new tyre rather than just a repair. That was my choice to make, not his, especially as his repair cost almost as much as a new tyre. He didn't have an answer for that one. But the thing that really pissed me of was that the very next day, I was on the freeway in the middle of nowhere about 80kms north of Sydney when the puncture repair failed. At the time I was going about kmph with my wife on the back.
