Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Nice trail but after Highway 19 on west side very rugged and wet. Very gorgeous trail and amazing views of the falls! Was pretty muddy on a lot of the sections, but was still walkable especially with all the boardwalks and logs. Really cool trail!

Many, many falls and pools. Very muddy and wet. It is likely drivable by vehicles with good clearance. Can't wait to do it again! Experience Builder. Southbound from the Comox Valley, follow a partially overgrown gated access road until it meets the trail. The trail continues to follow Nile Creek upstream and climbs up to the top of a ridge overlooking the 10 meter waterfall before descending back down to stream level. It was really peaceful. The first set of drops were covered in thick ice and while it was difficult to get a photograph of the main falls without branches in the scene, it was possible to focus on some of the smaller drops and pools. Logs to climb under and over Trail not well marked and easy to take a wrong turn but the pay off is worth it. In wetter seasons, this can be quite a muddy trail so be mindful with footwear.
