She bumps into Nana Osaki on a bullet train bound for Tokyo, and the two bond over having the same name. Eventually, they part ways, and Hachi wonders if she will ever see Nana Osaki again. In a twist of what can only be described as fate, the two tour the same apartment, , in suburban Tokyo. They decide to live together, after which Shohji and Hachi begin to have minor disagreements.
