We've been working on some 3D files for community release. You're free to tinker with and use this however you want. This at least gives you the rail designs to work with for other projects you may want to pursue as well. We will at some point have an official controller connecter available for the Legion Go that is not based on this design. If you have any feedback feel free to leave it here and I can pass along to the mechanical engineering teams.

While the built-in and detachable controller works well in most cases, you can also connect an external gamepad. Lenovo Legion Go runs on Windows 11 and supports Bluetooth, so you can use it with just about every controller released over the last decade. The choice of the controller depends on your preference and which form factor feels the best for you. However, we recommend one with an Xbox-style layout since it's the one a lot of PC games default to, and you don't want the different configurations on other controllers to affect your gaming sessions. Connecting Bluetooth controllers to the Legion Go is pretty straightforward. All you have to do is turn on Bluetooth and pair your gamepad with the handheld. You might also want to invest in a decent case if you want better protection for the premium handheld. The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller isn't the cheapest controller on the block, but it's one of the best options for the Lenovo Legion Go if you want a premium gamepad with unmatched customizability.

Geoffrey K. I returned my first Go unit due to wobbly controllers but after several months my new unit seems to have developed the same issue. Sandwichhammock Thanks a lot for contributing this, it sounds awesome! Test print feels great. Having the ability to attach to the official connector and have a usb c at the top for a WIRED connection would be fantastic. Hope I got it right, as I didn't see it mentioned in the explenation from Ben. I'm gonna give it a try tonight but was wondering if anybody has tried this yet and if there is any latency issues. When I do play certain games with the controllers detached in each hand it's not too bad but this would definitely make it easier. Exactly that's it, just being thinner and allowing you to set up the angle you want to hold your controllers with, as I understand it out of the picture, otherwise the small round wheel on top wouldn't make sense.
