What do you do? We had one of these years ago, same brand, not sure about the features. Ended up donating it after it was in the attic for a decade. Hope the newer versions move air better than the one we had. The advantage with these is a better seal in double-hung windows. So we replaced it with a mechanical switch version, that includes a dial temperature control… and that one has outlasted the initial one, continuing to run strong. Seems like power spikes, more frequent in the summer, might have killed the first one. It is true these smaller fans do not move the same amount of air as a standard box fan, even a cheap one. Some of the windows in our bedroom are too small for a standard box fan so these dual fan models work great. We regularly use the individual fan reverse functions, sometimes together, sometimes opposite each other to circulate fresh air into a room without opening other windows. Physically reversing the fan frame puts the controls on the outside. With typical box fans, the controls are on the top, so reversing the physical fan frame keeps the controls accessible. Of course in particularly humid weather and when the outside temps do not fall at night, this strategy can be counter-productive for comfort since it takes some time for the AC to remove humidity inside the home. Compact two fan models like this one? BTW, this Woot one does not have controls duplicated on front and back.

You can't control where your window is, and depending on where you are in the room, you may or may not want the fan blowing directly on you.
