Wake up with a breakfast roti filled with soft scrambled eggs, crispy potatoes, melty cheese, and pepper sauce, or visit for lunch when curried potato, chicken, chickpea, and pumpkin come in crisp roti or over rice. The burger is also delicious, doused in special sauce, and the Freddie Bowl offers the best of all worlds: rice and peas, stewed vegetables, and chutney topped with salad in a tangy vinaigrette and housemade hot sauce. La Fondita has been a casual taco order-at-the-counter mainstay for years, and in they added this great sit-down restaurant right next door. Settle in with something from their extensive tequila list, then order some ceviche and the chicken or duck, both of which come with homemade tortillas. They don't take reservations, so get there early. The menu is similar, and while we love the lobster salad roll here too, we like to come to Clam Bar for everything else—oysters, clams, and even whole lobsters.

It has such a cozy feel! My husband would come here often as a teen- he said it's all the same. But the star of the show is the food! There are no other words for it. It tastes authentic, not synthetic- creamy, amazing. I just can't say enough good things about this restaurant! Honestly, with the service I received last time I went to visit, I may only want to go to this location moving forward. We were seated outside pretty quickly. If you know the outside area is by a busy road so it is a bit noisy and harder to hear those at the table with you. We didn't mind it this day as we were on a time crunch.

Il Buco al Mare. The Blend. Go for the made-to-order combo seafood platter with fried scallops, shrimp, and white fish, and add cocktail sauce on the side. Tucked in the Capri Hotel with an outdoor terrace and view of the pool, this Mediterranean spot has expertly prepared Greek classics, from mezze, grilled octopus and tomato salad, to charcoal grilled lavraki and lamb chops. Sunday nights are particularly fun, when a pianist croons to Sinatra tunes. Just like its previous Amagansett location, this space is geared at take-out orders, and the team has positioned a bunch of picnic tables out front so customers can dine outside. Greek The Hamptons. Expect pizzas topped with clams and garlic-scallion butter, and Brussels sprouts and Taleggio, in addition to appetizers from veal-mortadella Meatball Pomodoro with a veal and mortadella combo, to the Cavalo Nero salad with Tuscan kale and pine nuts.
