When you first get Ethereal Workshop at level 19, you will receive a free Meebkin egg ready to place from the Synthesizer. To start getting more Monsters, attuning Meebs are required. Meebs are a special type of critter that can absorb the energies of each Ethereal element. With the Basic Castle , 10 Meebs are available, with more becoming available for each Castle upgrade. Meebs are attuned in the Attunement Structure by traveling to different Mirror Islands. However, Mirror Islands are not required to be unlocked or purchased to attune Meebs.
