This seems to do nothing as it does not appear to save the game without resting Is there any value to lighting a bonfire without resting? If you've not used the bonfire before I belive you are just "turning it on". Otherwise I didn't think you could even use a bonfire without resting. I don't think there is any point to just liting the bonfires, not entirely sure why the option is even there.
