We are Diasozo Animal Rescue team, three ladies, Ermioni, Katerina and Fotini, and together we have been rescuing abandoned, mistreated and abused animals for 10 years. We live in an area of central Greece called Karditsa, and we try to rescue and rehome as many animals as possible. We currently care for around animals we have rescued, and every day we get more calls about abandoned dogs and cats, who can be abused, mother dogs raising their babies on the streets, and severely sick dogs that are suffering without any help from anyone. We have no days off, we have no one working for us, no one that can help us every day. We always document our rescues and share pictures and videos, hoping to educate people, gain supporters and spread the message. Stray dogs are a sad reality of life. Around the world, many areas suffer from huge numbers of stray animals, and people are fighting every day to get them off the streets. Recently, they managed to save an abandoned, scared dog that was living in a field. Snow was starting to fall and they got to her just before the winter weather really set in. However, he noticed she was still there days later and it was starting to snow. Knowing the dog stood little chance in the harsh weather on her own, the kindhearted man called in rescuers with DAR to assist. The rescuers found Nolly in a field between two villages.
