The one thing that puzzled me however is making the device as powerful as the 35XX Plus without the ability to take advantage of the new processor due to the lack of hardware on the device. The 35XX-H changed all that. Unlike the Plus model we now have the ability to take advantage of emulation on higher end systems due to most of those systems requiring joysticks for many or all of their titles. On top of that some of the advantages of the aforementioned also carried over like RetroAchivments and wireless controller support due to those additions of Bluetooth and WiFi. The stock firmware could use some work but we have been seeing an effort by Anbernic in this round in order to solve this problem.

Now towards the end of the year ANBERNIC has decided to launch a bigger handheld, something that has more screen real estate, and something that can emulate the best Dreamcast games , the best Gamecube games and potentially the best PS2 games for a respectable price. The first being the DPAD. And then, the shoulder buttons are just very poor. A handheld of this size should feature stacked and flared shoulder buttons. These are too small, too loud and i find myself having to push them down fairly hard to actually get them to work, they are just… terrible..
