As you most likely noticed, they are written similarly in both English and Spanish, although there are still a few differences which we will discuss in this lesson. More importantly, we will teach you some common verbs, adjectives and phrases for talking about countries and nationalities in Spanish using some common phrases, to say what languages you speak and the things you love about your country. We will begin this lesson by reviewing the vocabulary for countries and nationalities in Spanish with a short video — paises y nacionalidades. Finally, we show two examples of very simple conversations using the vocabulary in the video. Knowing this vocabulary is really important for describing countries in Spanish so please make sure to stick until the end of the video. You can find a lot of examples of sentences with these verbs in the previous lesson too. The first paragraph talks about someone from Nicaragua.
