Well, it's back! Not necessarily the exact same dungeon, but The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has its own Water Temple with which to scare you. As with the other temples in this game, this dungeon has you traveling around to find individual puzzles that test all the skills and knowledge you've been acquiring up to this point. As its name implies, these puzzles deal heavily with water and Sidon, who is along for the ride. Updated June 3, We've updated this article to include a video walkthrough of the Water Temple for Tears of the Kingdom. After arriving at the Water Temple, upon completing Wellspring Island and traveling up the great waterfall at the end, you'll be confronted by a Zonai Pedestal. Interact with this for a cutscene and you'll be told the objective of this dungeon - to find and activate four faucets that will allow you to clear away the sludge monster in the center of the temple. Once you activate the Zonai Pedestal, you'll be able to fast travel directly to the temple. Use this if you need to stock up on items. As in Wellspring Island, you will be dealing with a low force of gravity in this dungeon. This means that not only with your regular jumps feel floatier but that your jumps executed while climbing will send you far further than normal, despite costing the same amount of stamina. Keep this in mind as you progress through the dungeon. To get to the first faucet, first head to the very left of the temple's main area. There will be a series of floating rocks that you can climb up, made easier by the temple's low gravity.

Once you have unlocked the Water Temple as a fast travel location, if you wanted to leave and grab more food and other material, you can do that freely without having to worry about trekking through a lengthy island again. We recommend having food, splash fruit, and arrows on-hand. Below, we list the valves in order from left to right, but you do not need to do them in any specific order. For the Water Temple boss specifically, you may want to hold on to any Zonai hydrant capsules you have. It requires first traveling through Ancient Zora Waterworks to unclog them, then traveling to Wellspring Island in the sky.

From the central area, a r amp to the west leads down to a door blocked by jets of fire.

You can spin the water wheel to generate electricity. Fire a splash fruit arrow at it to reveal the waterfall. After Releasing the Four Faucets Go back to the portal and examine it, to see the sludge being cleansed by the mass of water cascading down. Near that is a chest covered in mud with five arrows. Use an Arrow and Splash Fruit to unblock it. Use the platform to the left of the door to weigh down the pressure pad on the right, and Sidon will then join you. While it begins to swim around, keep in your line of sight, but stay back from it. To activate the fourth Water Temple pipe in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, go to the waterfall on on the platform you are on where you made the water wheel.
