Witcher 3 boring
Part of this was self-inflicted, though. On my second or third Skyrim playthrough, I wanted to level up as quickly as possible to take on some of the more difficult side quests intended for later in the game. Who can be arsed climbing the thousands of steps up to High Hrothgar anyway? I crafted hundreds of the tiny weapons, which are the cheapest and least resource-heavy item available to craft. My smithing stat skyrocketed, and my level rose with it. There were more elements to the exploit, I enchanted every dagger to boost that skill and increase their value to earn copious amounts of gold. But holy hell, those hours spent smithing were worse than watching paint dry. I was just pressing buttons every minute or so to restart the loop. Take crafting, for example. I recently wrote about how good the Hearts of Stone DLC was, and I only started that in order to level up a couple of times to craft new armour before the endgame.

Witcher 3 boring
Leveling up in this game—as with so many AAA action-adventure RPG-style titles these days—is grueling, an endless parade of side quests and enemy battles. I, meanwhile, am a chronic one-leveler, always yearning to operate at one or two notches above the suggested level for a given task. For Witcher 3 this has led to the inevitable: being trapped in the grind. Back in the day, it just meant throwing yourself into battle after battle, trying to accumulate those precious points hello, every Final Fantasy game. Now, games usually give you more ways to do this beyond straight combat.

The game makes you give a F about Ciri and Yennefer yet I have no idea what they mean to Geralt and if I had never read the books prior to playing this game, I would never know. But the world building and story and character archs are what keep me playing. This is a huge downer, especially after being so invested in the choices made during the game. Still, after the rose-tinted glasses come off, there are a few things that start to stick out to even hardcore fans of the game. Log In Sign Up. Unfortunately, no such thing exists, as the game simply punts the player back into the pre-endgame world. It's a boring, overrated game. Who can be arsed climbing the thousands of steps up to High Hrothgar anyway? Look it up fool!!! Sep Ver perfil Ver mensagens.

The Alchemy is still great but it feels less fun compared to 1. This has been a common trend for me for all the Witcher series. In addition to the poor leveling, there are just some broken skills in the game that make cheesing even easier. While not a game killer by any means, bugs are plentiful when playing this game. Boring loot is part of what makes the game feel sluggish. V View Profile View Posts. Botw is better in every aspect. Won't bother trying to change you mind. Date Posted: 27 Dec, pm. It tries to be so serious and all I can think of is an edgy teenager thinking he's tough. Yep the phicisics and leveling is still bad, even in CP
