Mangle used to be an animatronic named toy foxy, until she was torn apart by children. After that, she was put together wrong, and she became the mess of parts and wires known as The mangle. In Fnaf 2, Mangle sits in Kids cove deactivated until she turns on and begins to make its way to your office. Once mangle is in your office, she will make a strange ambience noise that makes the animatronics faster. After doing that for a while she will kill you.
