When did micah become a rat
Well according to Milton, They picked up Micah when they returned from Guarma, and i think that Micah ratted out the gang because he was afraid he would be killed if he didn't. This is also backed up by the fact that Micah seems to rather enjoy being in the gang, and even feels like he betrayed them after he was arrested in Strawberry. Why did he become a rat? While the rest of the gang brush it off, Micah may have kept it in mind, knowing that it might come in useful one day. By the time the five gang members had returned from Guarma, it was clear that Dutch was going mad and that the gang was on its last legs. Furthermore, it had reached the point where Dutch placed full trust in him, so there would be little chance of being discovered. He wanted to torment Arthur about Micah being the rat before killing him, so he would give him the full details of it. In essence, why would he lie? Admittedly, the Blackwater ferry robbery is perhaps a cause for suspicion regarding his true loyalties, but it could perhaps be because it would be such a big take and that it may result in a massive shootout, which Micah always enjoys. Arthur and much of the other gang, especially Sadie Adler and John Marston had their suspicions about Micah for a long while, but never had proof to prove their doubts true. A popular theory among fans of the game is that Micah had intentions to implode the gang from the inside long before being caught by the Pinkertons after the gang escaped the Plantation Revolution in Guarma. I believe this woman Annabelle was of a similar background to Molly, but unlike his relationship with Molly, Dutch seemed to have really loved Annabelle, and possibly even thought about asking her to be his wife. Bell was already known as a brutal and efficient thief and killer, so naturally he seemed the perfect person to take Dutch down. Micah clearly at some point decided he was gonna double-cross whoever was paying him, though those reasons remain unclear and many, ranging from Micah starting to naturally like Dutch and wanting to make him see his true potential as a criminal to Micah seeing potential in members like Arthur Morgan, John Marston, and even Sadie Adler as effective and prosperous criminals themselves and to join Micah in a new gang, or Micah simply wanting to usurp a lead role from somebody in the gang for his own reasons. That is great news!
Red Dead Redemption II featured a lot of characters who operated under a morally gray umbrella. They were good people, but they did bad things. However, if there is one thing all gamers in the history of ever can agree upon, it's that the character of Micah Bell was a downright villain. He was the prime antagonist of the game, the man whose guts we hated with all the anger in our bodies. But despite our bitter feelings toward Micah, could it be that he's not as evil as we thought he was? Micah Bell can't be all bad if he gives Arthur Morgan an off-hand holster. When Arthur goes to Strawberry to bust Micah out of jail, a major hassle ensues. The two outlaws end up having to shoot up practically the whole town in order to escape. This was due in part to Micah's craziness, but we digress. Afterwards, in order to repay Arthur for this favor, Micah gives him an off-hand holster.
