It was more expensive then staying at some of the surrounding airport hotels, but worth the money for us. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable and the bathroom adequate for our needs. Th parking went off without a hitch very professional and the pick up after our trip was just as great. We called after we had collected our luggage and when we arrived at the hotel entrance using the escalator from the luggage area to the hotel entrance the car was driven up. The food was good, the service excellent, but the food is a bit pricey. But, we knew beforehand that the restaurant could be expensive. We definitely will stay at the Westin again for our next trip. The convenience cannot be beat if one has an early flight out of DTW. It's a great way to start and finish your vacation. We hope to see you again. I travel to Detroit times a month and was lucky enough to stumble upon this amazing hotel. From the staff to the cleanliness, this hotel wins me over time and again. I've stayed at 6 or 7 different hotels in Detroit and I can honestly say this is my favorite. It is expensive and the valet service is not cheap, but the night rest you get here is second to none and I stay at SPG properties fairly frequently. Highly recommended.
