I took it in to walmart to get a replacement and they dismissed me saying they can't replace it. Tried talking to customer rep again who said they can't replace anything that was bought over days cause of covid so now question is how do I replace it?

Had I known this, I would have tested the battery before removing it, and possibly never removed it, leaving my issue as is. Sure sounds like a problem to me. They will scan the bar code and test the battery which will usually take an hour. Any decent mechanic could solve the battery connection problem. I switched over to AAA batteries as I tired of dragging batteries into the store and back. I've had WM batteries in the past and had them warrantied no problem.
