After restarting the car I got off the freeway ok did notice a loud blowing sound volkswagen gti epc light and got to a gas station, then I disconnected and reconnected the negative battery terminal to reset the system. Since then it hasn't happened again and my car appears to be running completely fine except for one thing: when I give it a lot of gas and really try to accelerate quickly I hear that same loud blowing or sucking noise coming from the engine. I'm assuming this has to do with the turbo since it only happens if I give it a lot of gas, volkswagen gti epc light, but I'm only guessing here. Hey man im having the same problem with my 03 gti.
