These guys didn't let me board because of a tourist fee that i was not supposed to pay since i was just transiting through Cancun to go to my final destination of Vancouver. All this, for a tourist fee which i was not obliged to pay in the first place since i wasn't staying in Mexico, just transiting. I had to book an expensive flight the same day on my own and these guys didn't even bother refunding the ticket for their flight, which they made me miss for no reason. Pathetic, never would i travel with this low cost carrier. Lesson learnt. I do not recommend this airline - in general it is a big joke. You can pay 50 euros more in case of emergency for "Full refund" option and you will not have your money back you can tell them that you are close to die. I flight with many airlines and I didn't have any bigger problems - only with this joke airline. Never book the flight with Vivaaerobus - it will be the worst experience in your life. I had a medical emergency and needed to refund my flight. To add a little more pain, the voucher ony lasts for 12 months. Worst airlines I have ever flown. Don't worry about paying the extra baggage fee because they are going to find away to keeping charging you if it's over 30lbs. Second they charge US citizens an extra tax to fly from Houston to Mexico plus the staff didn't speak English but that was just a minor issue.

Stay away from this crappy airline. Due to flight delay, I missed the connection flight and was put on a flight on the next day in the morning although there were flights on the same night. The airline sent a sms stating the delay was due to a technical problem. At the airport counter the personnel said it was instructed to say the delay was due to weather which was a sheer lie because other flights in the same direction and at the same time took place on time. They refused any reimbursement for the hotel that was paid for at the destination, no accommodation for the night, no food, not even WATER on plane!!! How sick is that!
