Your donations of gently used clothing and household goods make it all possible. We accept pretty much any clothing, collectibles or common household items that are clean and in good repair. Oh boy do I ever love a good thrift shop. I really, really, really love a good thrift shop! When I head to Value Village I scour the shelves for things I can use to re-purpose or upcycle or sometimes, just use as-is. I also love dropping off our unwanted items. It feels so good to get rid of things we have outgrown and no longer need. Value Village is on a mission to create a better world through reuse by inspiring local communities to donate reusable items to local nonprofits instead of throwing them in the trash. Through its commitment to sustainability, Value Village has become one of the largest recyclers of used goods in the world, keeping more than million pounds of reusable items from landfills each year. Having both diabetes and kidney disease in our family tree, it makes me super happy to know I can support those organizations just by cleaning out a closet….
