About Us. About Kappa Delta. The thought that years ago four young women could just sit down and create a sisterhood as enduring as Kappa Delta sometimes defies understanding, but that's exactly what they did. Today, Kappa Delta is an impressive nationwide organization that reaches far beyond the local chapter. We have more than , initiated members, active collegiate chapters across the country and over alumnae chapters across the country. Led by an elected National Council, hundreds of national volunteers and a professional staff numbering over 50, we have a network of sisters and friends around the world who come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. KD is one of my favorite chapters on campus. I've met so many friendly KD's in my classes and they are some of the nicest and most real people. Lots of genuine girls and I regret not picking them during recruitment. KD is by far the nice girl sorority. Friendly, helpful, kind and sweet. They are not very competitive and usually are just there for a good time. This is the house that no one says a bad thing about as a whole. Associates with: Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity.
