The University of North Carolina at Charlotte UNC Charlotte Center for Teaching and Learning spearheaded a longitudinal, data-driven project to better understand and respond to the needs of non-tenure-track faculty, uncc faculty.

This is a tenure track position. Cognitive science with research interests in computational modeling of the influence of cognitive and affective processes as they relate to health, education, robotics, etc. Cloud Computing with research interests in distributed computing, virtualization, resource management, programming and application models, data-intensive cloud infrastructure or dependability. The appointment will be for three or five years, depending on rank, and is eligible for renewal. The position is not eligible for tenure.

When the project began inthe study uncc faculty of five phases: contingent faculty needs assessment, implementation of institutional responses to identified contingent needs, uncc faculty, follow-up assessment and contingent faculty initiatives, institutionalization and dissemination of successful contingent faculty initiatives, planning for expansion and continuous improvement of contingent faculty needs.

Time and time again, we have seen women of color show up to the polls to support progressive politics, while white women cling to the regressive, and often racist, politics and politicians who long for yesteryear.
