How do Toyota Tundra wheel adapters work? Not only the PCD conversion, but the Toyota Tundra Wheel adapters also have the conversion ability to install aftermarket rims with bigger hub diameter properly. Most originally equipped wheels are hub-centric in design. Hence, these OE wheels can be properly mounted and accurately balanced. But many aftermarket wheels are made with larger hub diameters. They are called lug-centric wheels.
