It has very high damage output but low survivability without good gear. Much like with all melee builds in ARPGs it's going to be heavily gear and weapon dependent; if this is your first character it will be difficult to farm better gear since you'll struggle killing the hardest bosses and progressing through the game without gear in the first place. In Titan Quest shields do not offer you any significant amount of survivability other than the stats that come on the shield and the occasional block you get. Without any bonus Shield Recovery Time you'll only be able to block 1 attack every 3 seconds which is not much. Additionally, the bonus armor that comes on your shield does not apply to your over all armor. How armor works in Titan Quest is slot by slot -- your overall armor is largely irrelevant. Usually for these reasons most players who choose Harbinger builds will go into the dual wield specializations in the Warfare tree. This is the route I personally took when writing this guide and I feel this is the best route for this build as a whole. If you're going dual wield then getting good weapons for your character is probably the most important thing you can do -- thankfully there are easy farms in Titan Quest for insanely good weapons! When it comes to melee builds in Titan Quest some of the best advice I can give you is to stop in Act 3 and farm Sabertooth weapons and then stop again in Act 5 and farm up Einherjar's Fate.
Good through not the best available companion but damn is he fun to have in the party. This build has a slow start, so expect a lot of tactical work with a bow early on or burning through lots of healing potions. Each Skill Tree gives a different amount of Strength, and you will gain titan quest guide build total of 42 Strength from quests, if you play all the way through the Legendary Difficulty.
With the console release just a week old now, I thought it would be helpful to let the new console players PS4 and Xbox One in on many secrets that we PC veterans have known for years. The anniversary edition that came out in , with the subsequent expansions in and have breathed fresh air into the life of an old classic. If you, like others, have decided to fire up your remastered version of Titan Quest and are looking to enjoy a fresh boost of nostalgia, you probably might need some inspiration. I went with Greaves of the Argonauts but am unhappy with my choice for that slot. I see your health and mana bar appear different to mine, so I was just wondering. What this means is you can basically run around in circles and occasionally Phantom Strike whatever target you're fighting -- effectively kiting them around and only attacking them on your terms. There's a perfect throwing weapon for the build as well. I was looking to play something new and needed ideas. It became my favorite and strongest build I ever tried. A lot of the stuff that drops there can be used by characters in Normal difficulty. Plague to debuff enemies to boost pet damage or ternion if you want to go pew pew with your staff. Replace it per maxed Trance of Wrath lately in the game. Drop rate of throwing weapons is pretty high through so it shouldn't be too difficult to get your two Chakrams. Since our weapons are Monster Infrequents it means we'll be able to put Charms or Relics onto them as well. Battle rage is really useful, apend often and boost your attack power and critical hit chance. This only applies to melee combat , so players casting spells, using Staves or using Bows do not need to worry about this stat and should not invest in it. Blocking In Titan Quest Blocking works passively for any character equipped with a Shield, and unlike Armor, Shields can Block any type of Damage as well as projectiles. Ice Shards in the Storm mastery is a pretty powerful option for a pure caster type character, however, it does have the drawback of requiring you to stand still and spam the skill and does its best DPS when enemies are closer to you.
