Timmy is a bloke from the Gold Coast in Queensland who has been making videos and posting them to Youtube for about 3 years now. These days he has upgraded the raft to a skiff which he also built himself and is venturing further afield with his trusty sidekick, Millie. He never professes to be the worlds best angler, but has racked up plenty of quality fish in his time. Timmy spends most of his time fishing saltwater, but has also ventured out west chasing cod and yellowbelly. Timmy is currently travelling and fishing full time, making videos as he goes to share through his Youtube , Instagram and Facebook profiles. He also has a Patreon page, where subscribers get exclusive videos that aren't available through his socials.

Tim now showcases his amazing videos of his boating and fishing adventures on YouTube. Timmy Turtle is an avid fisherman, hunter and genuine outdoorsman. Tim started out with a goal to show people you do not need a lot of money to have a great time out on the water and live an interesting, full and adventurous life! When Tim began his adventures he had built his own custom skiffs. He now gives plans away freely to help others build affordable watercraft to take out and enjoy the outdoors and fishing lifestyle. A few years back, Tim made headline news when he took it upon himself to clear abandoned crab pots from Beelbi Creek near Hervey Bay in Queensland. There are many good amateur presenters who I enjoy watching. Dan: Watching your journey as a fisherman — your skills have improved over time from those early days. Not impressed she was. They spend more time talking about footy and racing than anything else. How do you stay motivated on the tough days? I agree on the Timmy turtle, definitely lost ot for me There's a few youtubers I watch regularly Andy's fishing, Sammy hitzke are the main 2 Occasionally I watch Luiben Pffeifer and Hawksey but they can get a little repetative. My contribution is Timmy the Turtle who has moved away from his early videos which chased fish in his local waterways towards a glossy well sponsored productions. Not really a fishing video — in this one Timmy goes over his finished skiff, showing all the bells and whistles he added on the build. Timmy: Not so much anymore, I used to have goals but social media is so up and down and all the algorithms have changed recently on different platforms. Now I fish to meet new people, explore new places, travel, share my experiences with others and do it as a full-time job. I don't fish as much these days but like sharing knowledge. Sign In Sign Up. I don't watch any fishing shows at all now, they are all just one big add, and some "celebrity" using gear, telling everyone how fabulous it is, and you cant catch fish without it, all fishing in some location, guided by professionals but making it look like fish are lining up to be caught.

He demonstrates his knowledge and skill, using many types of lure, in a "personal way". Have you heard him pronounce Swivel?
