Skyward Sword 's Fi is a divisive character within the Legend of Zelda franchise, but drawing any kind of strong response can be effective in its own way. Fi is the spirit that resides within the Goddess Sword, which is later tempered into the Master Sword. Similarly to Navi, Fi is a helpful companion but can interrupt proceedings too often for the liking of most players. Regardless of overall opinion on her, Fi was selfless to the end. She even asked Link to leave the Master Sword behind and sever their connection, as her purpose was complete and Demise was sealed away.
