Treasure Bags are consumable items obtained in Expert Mode and Master Mode as a reward for defeating bosses. Its contents depend on the boss it comes from. It is opened by either right-clicking it inside the inventory or using it while it is in your hand. In multiplayer , each player that deals damage to the boss receives one Treasure Bag upon completion. Treasure Bags are client-side and will despawn upon exiting the world. Each Treasure Bag contains the boss's usual drops from normal mode, along with one Expert Mode-exclusive item orange-highlighted items below — with the exception of the Lunatic Cultist , Dark Mage , Betsy , and Ogre , who currently do not provide an Expert mode-exclusive item. Obtaining a Treasure Bag in an Expert world, then opening the bag in a Normal world will retain the Treasure Bag's chance to yield developer items.

So, my friend and I were playing terraria and we did a few bosses. We did the King Slime which dropped us the bag with no issues. Later, we did the eye of cthulhu and only I got a goodie bag. We did it again so he could get one and we both got one that time. Now we are trying to kill the EoW but no treasure bag spawned. We have done it 2 times and nothing. We have dug around the area looking for it but we didn't find anything. Am I missing something or is something else going on? I had a similar problem. First boss we beat was EOC ,we both got a treasure bag ,mine was on the floor because I wwas dead ,but I got it. We beat EOW again,but no one got bags.
