For the last decade I have been travelling to Majorca once or twice a year and in between visiting mainland Spain too, and what has been interesting to see on the island of Majorca is the sudden emergence in the last year or two of Tapas bars. Hundreds of years ago when I first started going to Spain, well, Andalucia in particular, there was no such thing as a Tapas bar. You would simply go in a bar for a drink and a small plate of food or olives would be placed on your table and each time another drink was ordered you would get another small plate of something else to snack on. These small snacks are called tapas and come free with your drink and are brilliant! Great idea! Usually upwards I may add! Of course these are the typical tourist traps you expect and avoid. I always hit the back streets when I want some good traditional food and find where the locals are eating. They love it too when you site there and order in Spanish and they love it that your kids are there and you get free tapas and we usually order some food too! Facebook Twitter Pinterest Instagram. Tapas Bars in Cala Bona.
I would say this restaurant and Sa Caleta are the 2 best in Cala Millor easily, tapas cala bona. They love it too when you site there and order in Spanish and they love it that your kids are there and you get free tapas and we usually order some food too!
The Harbour is a popular choice for those dining out, with a varied selection of Restaurants to choose from. As Restaurants are exceptionally busy during peak season, it is always best to book a table in advance. If you have children, no problem because they are well catered for in this resort with high-chairs and kids menus readily available. There are several Cafes serving daily snack and meals until late evening and Bars dotted throughout the resort. The main evening entertainment bar is 'Sandancers' in Calle Llambies, where you can enjoy some fun Karaoke. If you are looking for a late night snack in Cala Bona you have a take-away at the Harbour selling all the usual types of fast food.
We went here last night. We ordered meatballs in a Spanish sauce chicken wings with honey and mustard sauce chilli beef and nachos and fried goats cheese with honey on bread. The meatballs were good but It tasted gorgeous. I was happy with the food though the chicken was over cooked and dry. With a pint of lager and a coke it was 28 euros. Best was the meatballs. Two small beers and a pineapple juice.

If you want authentic Spanish tapas this is your place! The dishes were all delicious and the staff very friendly. Really reasonably priced too. So much of this resort is British food pizza, pasta, burgers, steak , it was refreshing to eat something local. Me and my partner ate here for half of our holiday. The garlic prawns from the Tapas menu were faultless. As well as the chorizo. They have a brilliant tapas collection. My partner had the fillet steak off the tapas menu which he was sceptical

Lovely fillet pork, salad and chips for myself. We stopped here for drinks, the white wine was good, the sangria was out a carton. Try it on Wanderlog. On the peninsular, fantastic views. It was hard stopping my wife from eating them all! Display results as : Posts Topics. But all in all, great dinner. I took the beer anyway as it was promised I'd only have to pay half since I didn't order it. Mentioned on 2 lists. I recommend to everyone!

In my opinion this is a nice place to sit and chill with a drink and take in the view at the outside seating. Optimize your route. The food looked amazing and the taste was also very good. Hundreds of years ago when I first started going to Spain, well, Andalucia in particular, there was no such thing as a Tapas bar. Located by the beach, with a beautiful view, the restaurant is a good place for seafood. Croquettes, Spanish meatballs, Spanish beef stew, chorizo bites, and Spanish omelette. Had lunch here and it was amazing. Eating the most amazing seafood and getting the best ambience and service tonight. Food is amazing and fresh, excellent service. The staff were attentive but the food was hit and miss. If you get stuck ask for Erica she is amazing. The staff were great, helpful and friendly so I have no complaints there.
