Suzuki boulevard 800cc 2007

As the early morning sun bursts through the valley, the fir trees a vibrant green against a cloudless blue sky, some of the mountains seem cold and dark in shadow, contrasting sharply to the sun bathed slopes. All I have to do is decide where to take it. Lady luck steps in, as seems to happen so often during motorcycle adventures, and a suzuki boulevard 800cc 2007 coffee stop sees me in the company of world famous motorcycle adventurer Dr.

Ive never wanted to own a cruiser-style motorcycle, but a 3,mile trip this summer on a Suzuki Boulevard C50T may have changed all that. This model is identical to Suzukis popular C50 classic cruiser but comes with extras like a windshield, saddlebag and backrest to make it a tourer. I found the bike extremely comfortable, easy to handle at low and high speeds, smooth through the gears, trouble-free mechanically and good looking to boot. The C50T is the cc motorcycle with touring accessories as standard equipment. A comparable bike in its class is the Kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT, a cc bike with standard touring accessories. Until now, my steeds have been tall dirt-and-pavement dual sport bikes with narrow hard seats and thumpy transmissions. I was so pleased with this Suzuki that Im now wondering which motorcycle in my garage to sell so I can buy a cruiser.

Very interesting. This is exactly the kind of inexplicable weirdness that keeps me awake at night-like why does Hawaii have interstate highways? Fortunately, that was the only thing on the Boulevard that made me go hmmm. Back in when Suzuki put all of its cruisers under the boulevard banner, the cc Volusia received fuel injection and became the Boulevard C50, for a custom with 50 cubic inches. In , Suzuki added a touring version, the C50T, with a windscreen, soft saddlebags, studded seats and a backrest. Other niceties include whitewall tires and an easy-to-read white faced speedometer that glows orange at night with an inset bar-graph fuel gauge. The combination of black and chrome and the fully valanced fenders give the bike a classic look, even if the fenders and some of the covers are plastic. The engine rumbles to life instantly, and each time I start the bike, I can ride off almost immediately without any hesitation or grumbling from the engine. Controls are all very user friendly and shifting through the five gears is smooth. The engine feels a bit busy for a cruiser at highway speeds, where I often found myself wishing for a sixth gear, but offset crankpins reduce vibration so only a minimum amount reaches me. The C50T is set up for touring, so I spent some long days in the saddle to see how the Boulevard and I would hold up. One of the days was spent on the freeway, riding through the canyons, stopping for chowder along the coast, riding, stopping for more chowder at a different place, and riding some more. The ? A little windblast sneaks in underneath the windscreen and is routed up over the tank and hits my chin from below, causing some helmet buffeting.

That is hard to find anymore. Year

I got this bike to do quick short runs in town. I have a Harley and like it but sometimes I wish I had a smaller lighter easier to handle smoother riding bike than my Sportster. This bike fit the bill. It is slightly smaller but weighs much less and is tons easier to maneuver in town than my Plus, being liquid cooled I don't have to worry about stop and go traffic.

It had all the extras I wanted in a touring bike. It is a great investment to anyone especially us short people , for stability, comfort, and all-around class. In this position, I can support the bike securely when stopped or backing up.

Awesome bike I brought the bike in from a lady rider she said she could never get the gears down she rode it for about a year it set for all that time her brother would run it sometimes it had miles on it. But like most said the fuel tank is a little small get about miles on a tank I'm 5'9" thinking about going with forward controls but other then that Great bike and fun to ride everyday

I have also gone to Sturgis on it twice, the mile trip seems too short! Grab Rail or Strap. I bought a stock C50, my first street bike. You can't use it, because it is covered up by the left side bag. Generic Type Primary. I still have the duct tape on the turn signal. It is one of the best bikes in its class, bar none. I'm 5-feet-8 and stand flat footed when sitting on the seat, and can easily handle the weight distribution of the bike. I am 5 feet 4 inches and can stand flat-footed with my knees slightly bent, which makes a world of difference in controlling your bike. The C50T takes middleweight cruising to the next level offering accessories not normally found on an cc motorcycle. She is a beauty at a great price! It is such an easy bike to ride. I can't wait.
