It seems though that service for a shattered screen requires me to send in my current brand new 4 day old surface pro in exchange for a refurbished replacement product. My device is fully functional other then the cracked glass and I see no reason why there does not seem to be an option for me to simply get it repaired. Additionally if I must get it replaced then that will use up 1 of my 2 replacements instead of one of my 3 repairs, when there is seemingly no reason I cant get it repaired.
