Squidward red mist
He is an alternate-universe version of Squidward Tentacles who lives behind one of the many mysterious doors in RandomLand. He appears in the uncut version of the episode " SpongeBob in RandomLand squidward red mist but he was later replaced by a baby version of Squidward. Ego Pluma composer who joined the SpongeBob crew increated an original music track for Red Mist Squidward's appearance.
Known for its demented imagery and being the codifier of the often-misused term "hyper-realistic" in creepypastas, Squidward's Suicide is about an intern working for Nickelodeon who is shown what appears to be a normal SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon. Needless to say, it isn't. The story was immensely popular and gained quite a following. Of course, like any successful story, it was imitated There exists an alternate version, titled Red Mist , written in a more formal style, similar to a Wiki entry, and which fixes some of the plot holes present in the original while ending on a more decisive note.

I just want to start off by saying if you want an answer at the end, prepare to be disappointed. I was an intern at Nickelodeon Studios for a year in for my degree in animation. To adults it might not seem like a big one, but most kids at the time would go crazy over it. Now, since I worked directly with the editors and animators, I got to view the new episodes days before they aired. They had very recently made the SpongeBob movie and the entire staff was somewhat sapped of creativity so it took them longer to start up the season. But the delay lasted longer for more upsetting reasons. There was a problem with the series 4 premiere that set everyone and everything back for several months. Me and two other interns were in the editing room along with the lead animators and sound editors for the final cut. Nothing particularly funny but work related chuckles. One of the interns did a small throat laugh at it. The happy-go-lucky music plays as is normal.

The episode is about the anthropomorphic octopus character supposedly killing himself with a shotgun. The story is told by an intern for Nickelodeon, with the show's production team reviewing what was supposed to be the premiere episode for the fourth season, but as the footage progresses, the animators and editors become horrified by violent imagery and ghostly sound effects that weren't authorized to be included. Instead, the title read " Squidward's Suicide " but, thinking of the episode being some morbid joke shared by the animators, they decided to continue with the task at hand. He is soon interrupted by SpongeBob and Patrick laughing outside his home. Squidward aggressively tells them both to quiet down as he is practicing for a concert which, sadly, goes wrong for him.

How weird, you ask? Its latest episode features a reference to a 9-year old creepypasta in which perennially dead-inside SpongeBob neighbor Squidward kills himself in a supposed "lost episode" of the show. In the very real new episode, titled "SpongeBob In Randomland," SpongeBob and Squidward are sent to a strange alternate dimension to make a delivery. At one point, the pair are presented with a wall of doors. Squidward opens a few to find horrifying alternate versions of himself, ending with a vision of Squidward with large, red eyes and black makeup running down his face. The image, known as "Red Mist Squidward," is a reference to Squidward's Suicide , a creepypasta from in which a supposed Nickelodeon intern tells the tale of a horrifying "lost" SpongeBob episode in which Squidward spends minutes weeping while horrific sounds play before the character kills himself.

In a recent SpongeBob episode titled "SpongeBob in RandomLand", fans have spotted an apparent reference to an internet meme that has been around for years.
It is titled "Red Mist Cue," in a direct reference to the story. Her entrails were piled on top of her above another crude cut along her back. The show resumed. I had to choke back vomit and one intern, the only female in the room, ran out. In response to the censorship, Paloian stated, "It's actually kind of fun that it got censored. Not normal cartoon booing that is common in the show, but you could very clearly hear malice in it. Don't have an account?
