A Springlock suit is a special animatronic that can be used as both an animatronic and suit. In order to turn the animatronic into "suit mode", you will require a special crank which deactivates the metal gears and spiked edged which are layered around the inside of the suit. Due to this, the suit's endoskeleton expands, allowing a person to wear the endoskeleton like a suit, and thus wear the outer costume as well. However if the wearer is exposed to any moisture, the endoskeleton will reactivate and the gears will begin to start spinning again, violently bludgeoning the wearer to death in an instant. I designed a spring lock head original drawing elsewhere which I am extremely proud of. I see lots of people design springlock parts, but never how they make room for the person. In this, you can see that I did, and it was way easier than I anticipated. Even more than that, I gave every single piece an actual role. Many springlock suit designs, including the one in the movie surprisingly, just have closing pieces that serve 0 purpose other than to impale the wearer. In this design, every single part serves a role in assembling the endoskeleton. I even made this more accurate to Springtrap than Help Wanted Spring Bonnie, and even tried to stay as accurate to VRBonnie as I could, but to be fair that version of the character has an extremely inaccurate endoskeleton compared to Springtrap anyways. My spring lock failure image may have disappointed a few. Only the bars through the jaw, the "cheek things", the "eye things" , and two promgs on the back of the head actually injure the wearer. The springlock suits , springlock hybrids , or springlock animatronics are unique but currently discontinued machinery in the Five Nights at Freddy's series. When done, the springlocks are triggered and automatically pull the endoskeleton back and move pieces to provide just enough room for the human. However, the springlocks on the endoskeleton can fail.
