I'm wondering what changes if any have been made to make such classic overpowered civs somewhat weaker or costly to use. Spiffing brit all good that there's a spread of different civs.

The Spiffing Brit is a British gaming YouTuber who specializes in showcasing and exploiting various bugs and exploits in video games for the hilarity it would cause. If there's something broken in a game, you'll be sure he'll find it and cheese the heck out of it for giggles, all the while drinking a cup of Yorkshire Tea. His portfolio however starts remarkably mundane, in that his early videos explored the lore of Stellaris. Due to the long periods in between updates, he eventually branched out to video game exploits, and the rest is history. And I Must Scream : He pulls off an absolutely nightmarish The Sims 4 exploit where he traps a group of pregnant women in a pool and forces them to give birth over and over. Basically, because it's impossible for children and pregnant women to die in the game, they can never drown, and because they're in a pool they can never actually give birth. However, the game still gives you a free bassinet when they go into labor, meaning you can rack up an infinite number of bassinets and sell them all for Simoleons each.

The Spiffing Brit ripped this game apart, and are the devs going to fix those exploits? I legitimately want this game to be great, but with one 30 minute video, this dude absolutely laid bare a massive exploit problem. The devs should take that into consideration, otherwise the entire thing just feels completely phony. People would rip the game, the devs, and the entire company a new one, and there might even be lawsuits filed. They would end up losing subscriptions or at the very least not gain subs. Maybe set a budget for each of the categories of player? Like most people would have a fairly limited budget, and a few would have a larger gaming budget, and very very select few would have the massive gaming budget. People like this actually DO exist. It has lowered my opinion of the human race as a whole. However, for the sake of the balance of this particular game, I would still suggest boundaries on how much the game-generated "players" can spend per month on their MMO. Another point: Yes, there should be a sandbox mode. There should be an area where you can make exploding chickens and rocket shoes that fire off into space and books that can call Cthulhu into your game to possess the players' minds to give you more money. Yes, all that fun random crap should happen, but only in sandbox mode.

And I am not sure that it can be fixed just by tweaking some numbers, the problem lies in the fundamental game mechanics, spiffing brit.
