The whole place has been carefully renovated to bring it up to date without losing any of the period character, and the original arched windows, wrought ironwork and corner tower all remain. All have the same calm, modern decor, with sleek wooden floors, soft white walls and natural oak offset by muted blue and grey accents. The sofas can be converted into extra beds and, because of their height, they double as dining and work areas. The nightstands, meanwhile, function as stools to provide extra seating around the tables or by the deep counter-like windowsills. The iconic wooden headboards from Hotel SP34 have also been incorporated, here painted in dark petrol blue rather than grey to give the apartments their own identity. The same applies to the bathrooms, which mix grey stone tiles with oak vanity units to echo the material and colour palette elsewhere.
