Southwestern Advantage. Overview Reviews. What I liked It was really challenging and helped me grow a lot. What I wish was different I wish it didn't have to end. Advice It takes a lot of commitment. Be the first to mark this as helpful. What I liked Southwestern Advantage teaches you how to set goals, achieve them, then break belief barriers and become a person of integrity, effort, and finding gratitude in every circumstance. It not only gave me more confidence in myself but also more confidence in the person I am becoming as a Christian, daughter, friend, student, and athlete. I met so many amazing, driven, and likeminded people who I am so thankful to be close friends with and co workers for coming summers.

What I wish was different My managers! What I wish was different One thing I wish I could have done different was being more committed and believing in the product I was selling. This experience has helped me see the world from a different perspective, it has taught me to be more grateful for the things I have in my life. What I wish was different the point of view from outsiders. Working with people who are positive, passionate, and have a work ethic that average college students are not willing to have — being able to set my self apart from graduating college students after I graduate. This is different than any other job I had before where regardless how hard I worked in those other jobs someone working not as hard would get payed the exact same. I appreciated the shift in perspective I had. What appealed the most to me was the sales aspect. What I wish was different I wish I had been closer to my family, however, I understand the reason behind being outside of your comfort zone. What I liked I loved the fact that this internship was so challenging but students are rewarded for their effort. The best thing is that you can get awards, recognition, skills, great friends, travel, experience, learn a lot, and get paid. What I liked Learn about sales, and personal growth goals and mindsets. Advice This experience changed my life, it motivated me to make decisions today to become the person I hope to be in the future.
For over years, Southwestern Advantage has existed to help young people develop the skills and character they need to achieve their goals in life.

Overview Reviews. What I wish was different Nothing. Comminication amd self motivation. What I wish was different The internship stressed the importance of independence and accountability. Also, it may be a pyramid scheme but it forms good habits and principles of success, whether you choose to continue or are invited back or leave after your first summer. What I wish was different nothing. What I wish was different Been told more about the entire company before starting, not just my internship role. It pushes students out of their comfort zone at all levels. What I liked Taught me how to own a business and how to manage that business. Students are able to truly master communication skills through meeting over 3, families of every socio-economic background and challenge themselves daily.
