Dwemer aka Deep elves or dwarves are a race featured in the Elder Scrolls series. They are a race of elves known for their advancedness. The Dwemer are remnants of the early Aldmer. Little is known of the history of the Dwemer and the early history and origins of their civilization; most of their history consists of records of their conflicts with other races and each other. As such, the timeline is imprecise for many of these events. Recorded history dates the beginning of the Dwemer to the Merethic Era, though it could be said that the earliest known history of the Dwemer was when the Aedra created Mundus, the mortal realm, and with it, all of the mortal races. As Mundus was forming, it was revealed that many of the Et'Ada would be forced to give up much of their power. Due to this, the Et'Ada met at the Adamantine Tower during an event known as the Convention, and ultimately decided that Lorkhan had to be punished for his trickery, which was eventually carried out. With the creation of Mundus, some of the Et'Ada went to Nirn to live there. Magnus tore a hole into Aetherius, which became Nirn's sun. Many other Et'Ada followed and became the Magna Ge, tearing smaller holes into Aetherius, which became the stars. The Aedra who walked on Mundus, specifically Nirn, created the Ehlnofey. The Ehlnofey of Tamriel became the Mer, and many different races of elves came about. The Dwemer were one of the descendants of the Ehlnofey. At some time after their creation, the Tonal Architects started to research the divine powers of the Ehlnofey, or the Earth Bones.
They appear in leveled lists starting at level 12 enchanted varieties at level Keening was designed to focus and attune the divine power skyrim dwemer extracted from the Heart. Science was an important aspect of the Dwemer academic society, especially the science of astronomy, skyrim dwemer.
The Elder Scrolls franchise contains a world full of fantastical creatures and incredible magic. Among these creatures are the world's inhabitants, the most common of which range from men to mer. The mer, or the elves, are a diverse species of humanoids that can be found in every game. Some even serve as playable races. Though, what about the elves that aren't playable? What about the Dwemer?
Dwemer Artifacts are common metal objects made by the Dwemer that are usually found within Dwemer Ruins , either found on the bodies of slain Animunculi , in containers such as Dwemer chests and dressers or just lying around. The artifacts come in various shapes and sizes, and all are made of the mysterious Dwemer metal, and many, but not all can be smelted down into Dwarven metal ingots for making Dwarven armor and weapons. These ingots can only be found or created by smelting Dwemer artifacts, as there are no veins of Dwemer ore to be mined. Some Dwemer artifacts are quite heavy and yield relatively few ingots, others are light and can be smelted into more than their original weight of ingots. There are some artifacts created by the Dwemer which are not common and are regarded as highly prized and valuable.

What about this lengthy but curiously insubstantial tome has proved so captivating to the public that it has been able to see off both the scorn of the literati and the scathing critiques of the scholars? Before examing this question, a brief summary of the provenance and subsequent career of Ancient Tales would be appropriate. First published around 2E, in the Interregnum between the fall of the First Cyrodilic Empire and the rise of Tiber Septim, it was originally presented as a serious, scholarly work based on research in the archives of the University of Gwylim, and in the chaos of that era was taken at face value a sign of the sad state of Dwemer scholarship in those years. Little is known of the author, but Marobar Sul was most likely a pseudonym of Gor Felim, a prolific writer of "penny dreadful romances" of that era, who is known to have used many other pseudonyms. Felim lived in Cyrodiil his whole life, writing light entertainments for the elite of the old Imperial capital. Why he decided to turn his hand to the Dwemer is unknown, but it is clear that his "research" consisted of nothing more than collecting the peasants' tales of the Nibenay Valley and recasting them in Dwemer guise. The book proved popular in Cyrodiil, and Felim continued to churn out more volumes until the series numbered seven in all. Ancient Tales of the Dwemer was thus firmly established as a local favorite in Cyrodiil already in its 17th printing when the historical forces that propelled Tiber Septim to prominence also began to spread the literature of the "heartland" across the continent. Marobar Sul's version of the Dwemer was seized upon in a surge of human racial nationalism that has not yet subsided. The Dwemer appear in these tales as creatures of fable and light fantasy, but in general they are "just like us".

One particularly interesting interaction with the character Falion in Morthal sees them telling the player that they have traveled all across the plane of Oblivion where they met a variety of races, including the Dwemer. Yagak attempted unsuccessfully to buy time for Endrast to get away, but both were killed during their escape. Dwarven Swords were effective at breaking through light armors; this was due to the venerability and sharpness of tempered Dwarven metal, and owed less to the double-edged design. Both pieces are of higher value and have a slightly better armor rating than the regular dwarven versions. They were the creators of the Aetherium Forge , a massive, magma-fueled forge that was constructed to handle Aetherium and craft materials made from the luminescent crystal. The fact that the Dwemer had personal flying machines showed just how far they had progressed. An example of the Dwemer's cultural characteristic for the arcane arts were the Aetherial artifacts: the Aetherial Staff, Aetherial Shield, and the Aetherial Crown, whose powerful enchantments come from Aetherium. The Dwemer of Nchardak notably used many of these cubes to maintain their city, by controlling the various power systems that kept the city stable and to control the power system which supplied power to the Reading Room, as they would no doubt want to keep their massive, expansive library safe from outsiders. It was "unfashionable among the Dwemer to view their spirits as synthetic constructs three, four, or forty creational gradients below the divine. Other sections included aedromes and sky-domes which contained Oculories , debate halls, war quarters, cathedrals, marketplaces, treasuries, armories, storage areas, storerooms, and gatehouses. Other metallic items that are found in Dwarven Ruins cannot be smelted, including various other types of Dwemer scrap metal and Dwemer dishes. It is distinguished from the craft of metalworking in that with metalwork, the craftsman is working with the actual components of metal, a process to "create individual parts, assemblies or large scale structures.
Blackreach , also known as Fal'Zhardum Din [note 1] in Dwemeris , [1] is a large city in a massive subterrenean cavern found underneath the Tower of Mzark filled with geodes , glowing mushrooms , Chaurus , Falmer , Giants and dragons. Unlike most other Dwemer cities, some of the glowing mushrooms here are substantially larger than those found elsewhere, with stalks even taller than the buildings themselves.
This area is a huge underground cavern that connects to several other strongholds within Skyrim. King Rourken was said to have used his shield, Spell Breaker , during the battle. As Dwarven sites located west of Vvardenfell appeared to be built at a much greater depth than their Vvardenfell counterparts, it was theorized by Thelwe Ghelein that there was a specific threshold as to where Dwarven excavators and miners would dig before the construction of vital structures would begin. One theory that supports the last hypothesis is that geological makeup most likely played a significant role for Dwemer colonies who had just begun to excavate out a mountain where they had prepared to build a new city. This also led to many races considering the Dwemer to be an evil race, which led to much of the artifacts left behind by the Dwemer being destroyed. After finding all the pieces, they sought the help of Radac Stungnthumz, a Dwemer ghost. It has been thoroughly researched and debated on the topic of variations of style among different groups, locations, and time periods of the Dwemer civilization. There seem to have been regional differences in architectural and engineering styles; for instance, the prevalent style among northern clans is now known as "Deep Venue", wherein several structures are built within natural caverns. The Snow Elves initially lived above ground in Skyrim but were driven out of their homeland by the Nords from the northern land of Atmora. There is no direct explanation for the disappearance of the Dwemer , but there are a lot of speculated theories within the series. They used these tools to destroy the Heart of Lorkhan.
